These beautiful necklaces are a keepsake; and as such are made with solid materials (including the chain) which can be worn daily. Available in solid Sterling Silver, or solid 9ct Yellow Gold.

All chains are 45cm long. Option for a cable chain, or a handmade sterling silver or mixed metal LMJ Classic chain. Please email directly for pricing of a Classic LMJ in solid 9ct yellow gold.

Fingerprint designs are not recommended for children under 12 months given their finger prints are often not deeply defined to get a clear print.

Once the order is placed, the kit will either be available for collection for local customers (Yallambie, VIC 3085), or posted within 3 business days. The kit will include wax, plastic containers (to ensure safe return), instructions, and -if required- a return post envelope.

The turn around time is between 3-4 weeks once wax imprints have been recieved at LMJ.

Instructions

Your finished piece will look exactly as the wax does once you have completed the imprint, so be sure to love how it looks before sending it back. The measurement will depend on how firm into the wax the finger is pressed, as well as size of finger.

An initial can be stamped on the back of a pendant. You can specify in the comments section, or on a note in the return post when you send back your wax. Please note, a letter stamp cannot be guaranteed if the wax is too thin or there is not a suitable spot for it.

When you receive your kit it will include 2 small balls of wax (the most suitable and clear option will be selected to be made into the pendent). These have been weighed and measured to ensure they’re the correct size. The easiest way to mould the wax is to first heat it up under a warm hairdryer while rolling it in your fingers into a ball. Once it is warm and malleable place it onto the baking paper (included) on a hard flat surface, like a table. Press the fingerprint into the wax until you achieve the desired result. This step might take a few attempts. Each time just re-warm the wax and start again.

Leave it out to airdry for 30 mins, and then carefully place the mould’s into the small plastic containers provided.

Please remember, these are delicate, and any marks will show on the final pendent.
